Find out more about the work the JIB has undertaken on behalf of its members and the wider industry throughout 2025 in the JIB Annual Review 2025.

The JIB continues to work with ECA, Unite the Union and other industry representatives to assure stability and sustainability in the sector and secure collective agreements on pay and conditions. As the UK accelerates towards net zero, electricians will play a vital role in delivering that vision. Throughout 2025 the JIB has worked to ensure that Government listens to the voices of its members. It also hosted regional forums and webinars to guide and inform members and others within the sector.

The JIB’s work on competence and standards continues. Find out more about how it champions those entering the electrotechnical sector through apprenticeships and those demonstrating competence through Experienced Worker Assessments (EWA).
