BEAMA backs joint industry call for partnership on energy growth

BEAMA, with 12 other energy sector trade associations, has written to the incoming Prime Minister positioning the industry as a partnership for growth.

 Collectively, they are calling for the Government to:

• Reduce the cost of electricity
• Keep the energy transition on course
• Maintain investor confidence

The associations hope to meet key members of the new Government to discuss actions that can help achieve these requirements, building the energy system Britain needs for long-term growth.

BEAMA members are keen to invest, and the sector represents a great opportunity for economic growth and advantages to all, but we need constructive engagement and clear plans to ensure we accelerate electrification and secure the resulting benefits.
