Apply for the BEAMA 2050 Connected Award

October 13, 2025

The BEAMA 2050 Connected Award recognises outstanding efforts across the sector to advance net zero initiatives through collaboration, innovation and leadership.

Eligibility
For 2025, the award is open to individuals, companies, and joint nominations. Previously, the nominations required a collaboration between at least two organisations, with one being a BEAMA member. While collaborative projects remain encouraged, the updated criteria acknowledge that significant progress towards net zero can also be driven by individual or organisational leadership.

Assessment criteria
Entries will be evaluated on their contribution to:

  • Supporting aligned processes, practices or standards that enable net zero outcomes.
  • Delivering measurable impact through commercial, social or educational initiatives.
  • Driving product innovation, improvement or circular economy principles.
  • Educating and engaging the market or wider stakeholder community on net zero challenges and opportunities.

Products or initiatives may include emissions reductions associated with product use, but should demonstrate broader impact beyond operational performance alone.

Individual and company nominations must be from BEAMA members. Joint nominations must include at least one BEAMA member.

Closing date and application
There is no set application form; the word count is limited to 1,000 words, and supporting images and videos are accepted.

Within the application, please include:

  • Name of nominee: [Individual, Company, Joint]
  • BEAMA Member Company:
  • Summary of actions taken towards the assessment criteria:

Applications close on 7th November.

Please send your nominations to Tasha Lyth at tasha.lyth@beama.org.uk

A shortlist will be selected after the deadline date, and finalists will need to be available to attend the BEAMA Annual Lunch on 4th December in London.
