Andrew Eldred appointed Managing Director of ECA

On Monday 2 March, Andrew Eldred became Managing Director of ECA (Electrical Contractors’ Association).

Steve Bratt (pictured left) continues as Group CEO of ECA and will be devoting more of his time to wider industry-related activities and leading several key workstreams in the Construction Leadership Council. This will ensure more focus on playing a strong, strategic and influential role for ECA Members and the wider industry.

Andrew (pictured right) will take responsibility for all ECA trade association operational activities and leadership of the Association’s senior management team. He will also serve as the lead Director for Council.

During his eight years at ECA, Andrew has been Deputy CEO, Chief Operating Officer, and Director of Workforce and Public Affairs, leading on all aspects of ECA membership and skills strategy, including workforce skills policy, individual competence, apprenticeships and skills. In addition, Andrew is a trustee-director of apprenticeship training charity, JTL.
