EIC offers free wills to under 55s in March

This March, the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC) is offering a free will-writing service for individuals aged under 55.

The National Wills Report 2025 found that only 37% of UK adults have made a will, which is a significant decrease from prior years. 

We know there can be significant barriers that stop people from having a will made up. One in four Brits still claim they don’t know how to make a will, and this gap continues to deter many from beginning the process.

That’s why for the entire month of March, the Electrical Industries Charity is offering a free will-writing service to all industry members and their family members who are aged under 55.

Taking advantage of this free service allows our industry members to ensure their wishes are documented and their loved ones are protected. Whether you’re writing your first will or updating an old one, this service makes it easier to secure your legacy.

A will allows individuals to decide how their assets are distributed, appoint guardians for children, and even provide for pets. It also offers an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy by including a gift to charity.
