Build UK: top 10 achievements

Build UK is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2025 and has decided to look back at its top ten achievements as a leading representative organisation for the UK construction industry over the last decade.

The list includes things such as improving payment performance in which tier 1 contractor members take on average 29 days to pay invoices, down from 45 days when data first started being published in 2018.

Other achievements include agreeing a standard for safety helmet colours, driving change in contract terms and championing industry card schemes such as CSCS.
